You've probably seen those fantastic Lord of the Rings games with swirling landscapes, mythical creatures marauding across your screen, sweeping music ... okay, you get the picture. Well this hobbit game isn't quite that spectacular. Fashioned by Games of Gondor sounds promising enough, but then, oh no, they called it Hop-a-Lot Hobbit! Why? Because to take Frodo into the dark lands of Mordor he has to do a lot of hopping. Hopping over shrubs, fair enough. Hopping over barrels, okay. Hopping over horses ... what? Who hops over a horse, particularly if they are a Hobbit. Why not take advantage of your diminished Hobbit status, and walk under the horse, or even, for the sake of Sauron, around it. Why not? Why, why why? Why do that? Why? Still, its fun to see Frodo landing on his little Hobbit face, when he, er, trips over a horse, when he tries to hop it. Again we ask, why? Why? Why!
