Nowadays, when they bring out a new movie, there is often a game released to coincide with the movie release, not least because its a good free way of getting the movie publicity. Sometimes the games are actually quite good, other times they are quite bad, and some are merely pointless. Whack a crab falls into the last category and surely ranks as one of the most pointless movie inspired games we have had the misfortune to come across.

You can almost imagine them sitting there in the marketing studio, when someone points out that when they were in high school they half made a game with crabs crawling across the screen. Someone pipes up, "wow, guys, let's stick a picture of Captain Jack Sparrow on the screen and call it a Pirates of the Caribbean game." And they did. Well, probably something like that. Or is it a hidden message that Johnny Depp has crabs? We hope not, as he remains one of our favourite actors.
