This is a free online version of the Mastermind game, a plastic board game that was popular in the 1970s in particular when the TV show Mastermind was essential viewing for all sorts of geeks, although in reality the game had very little to do with the show! To play Mastermind you have to use your skills of logic and deduction to work out how five different (or same) balls are placed out of your view. Each time you make a guess you'll be told how many colours you got right and how many you got right in their right location. Sounds easy? Well, you get just ten attempts in each game to get it right, so unless you make a very lucky initial guess you may find yourself struggling. Good luck.
