The object of this Ludo game is for each player, in turn, to race each other around the Ludo board to be the first to get all of their counters to the HOME base. When counters are knocked off, they are returned to the starting square. Each player picks a set of counters and places them on the Ludo board in the starting squares of each colour. Take it in turns to throw. You must throw a SIX before you can move a piece onto the Ludo track.

Every time you throw a six you get another throw and you can move any one counter to the number shown on the dice. If you counter lands on top of your counters this forms a block. A block cannot be passed by any of your opponent's Ludo pieces. If you land on one of your opponent's counters, they are knocked off and returned to the start.

When a counter goes all the way around the Ludo board it can enter the home column, however to land in the home triangle, you must thrown the exact number. The winner of this Ludo game is the first player to get all four counters to the home triangle.
