2012 has been described as "the best disaster movie ever .... unmissable" and we here at Purely Games do like our disaster movies, and we're not talking about any movie starring Madonna. In 2012 the world faces catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions as cities collapse and continents crumble. 2012 brings an end to the world as we know it and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors. Well, that's what the official blurb says anyway, but its much better than that, and the only movie we've watched back to back over a series of nights just to take in the totally awesome special effects. We thought The Day After Tomorrow was good, but nothing compared with this. The only downside to 2012 is that there's no where else for disaster movies to go!
